Aliya completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in 2017. She began her career in Chicago and went on to work as a travel physical therapist across multiple outpatient clinics before landing in the D.C. area. Aliya has a special interest in orthopedics and uses a combination of education, movement-based treatment, and manual therapy to empower patients to meet their goals. Additionally, she is happy to offer treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, constipation, tailbone pain, and pelvic pain. She believes in tailoring her approach to best meet the needs of each individual person, promoting pain relief, improved performance, and a return to the activities they love to do. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, strength training, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
