Alicia was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She relocated to the East Coast to attend Cornell University where she played soccer and participated in NROTC. After graduation, she served as an active-duty Naval Officer for six years before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2014. For her first five years of practice, Alicia specialized in the treatment of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries in pediatric and adolescent populations. In 2019, she earned her board certification as an Orthopedic Specialist and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. When she’s not in the clinic, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, playing tennis, hiking, and traveling. “
