Alesa graduated with honors from Chadron State College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She relocated to the D.C. Metropolitan area after PT school and has been practicing in the area ever since. Alesa is continually furthering her education, having attained certifications as an Olympic Lifting coach (USAW Level 1), in dry needling (CMTPT) and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization therapy (IASTM), and has taken several courses including myofascial decompression, blood flow restriction therapy (BFR) and others to broaden her knowledge and add to her tool belt of treatment options. She specializes in orthopedic and sports-related injuries for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
In her free time, Alesa enjoys traveling, snowboarding, hiking, CrossFit, weightlifting, coaching and leading an active lifestyle with her husband and dog.
