Aliya completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in 2017. She began her career in Chicago and went on to work as a travel physical therapist across multiple outpatient clinics before landing in the D.C. area. Aliya has a special interest in orthopedics and uses a combination of education, movement-based treatment, and manual therapy to achieve positive outcomes. She believes in tailoring her approach to best meet the needs of each individual patient, promoting pain relief, improved performance, and a return to the activities they love to do. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, strength training, writing, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
