Grettel Collins has been practicing physical therapy for over 22 years. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2000 with her Masters in Physical Therapy. She started her career in a subacute/rehabilitation facility where she loved working with the geriatric population. She joined Shady Grove Orthopaedic Associates in 2005.
Since joining Shady Grove Orthopaedics Grettel has become a Maryland Board Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), created the “Runner’s Clinic” at our practice, and became a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist/Dry Needling Therapist and has begun incorporating that skill into the practice.
She has a passion for continued learning and helping her patients reach their fullest potential in their rehab in hopes that they live their best lives.
