Kyra was born in New York but spent most of her childhood growing up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mechanicsburg Area Senior High. She then went on to attend Gordon College in Wenham, MA where she played soccer and received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Between schoolings, she spent one year in Virginia Beach to complete the VB fellows program, where she found her love for the city of Virgina Beach. She returned to Pennsylvania to attend Slippery Rock University for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In her freetime, Kyra likes to spend time with friends, go to the beach and try new coffee shops. Kyra also enjoys photography and playing pickup soccer and basketball.
