Melissa grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and relocated to the Maryland are to be closer to her twin brother. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Carroll University in Wisconsin and went on to graduate with her Doctor of Physical Therapy. During graduate school, Melissa enjoyed working as a local Licensed Athletic Trainer, helping patients of all ages and competition levels. She is also a Graston Technique provider with an interest in sports medicine and concussion management. Outside of work she enjoys cheering on her Wisconsin sports teams, hiking, traveling, and catching up with friends and family back home.
