“Emma Rosenthal, my hand therapist, removed my dressing and sutures, cleaned the wound, and put stockinette over the operative site to keep it clean and protected; she taught me hand exercises, watched me repeat them and gave me an illustrated instruction sheet along with post op information to take home; and she even retrieved an anatomy text to provide me with additional information in about the route of the median nerve from the cervical and brachial plexuses to my wrist. Not only was she a skilled professional providing me with therapy and exercise instructions, Emma was personable, kind, and generous with instructional information. Additionally, she provided me with her therapy email address in case I had further questions. I am a retired RN who appreciates quality patient care.
